Dogs available for adoptionDog of the Week!
Sadie (11578) is a 3 year old spayed female Collie/Great Pyrenees mix
Sadie is currently living with a foster family while she looks for her forever home. She would love to have a somewhat active owner who will take her on hikes and walks through the woods. She also likes to jump and play in the water, but doesnt like swimming (yet). Sadie loves to be close to you and, if you let her, she will happily snuggle up to you in your chair no matter what size the chair may be! She can be a bit bossy with other dogs, so would do best as either the only dog in the house or with a male dog. The CVHS staff thinks that her leg got stuck in a bear trap when she was younger and no one took her to the vet, so it healed poorly. However it does not slow her down at all, she just limps on it after a hard days work once in a while. She is working on not chasing cars she loves to ride in them, she is fascinated when they zip by her. Call CVHS today to set up a meeting with Sadie and wee what a great and awesome dog she is.
